Meet the best j2me game ever!
Hi, i would like to present you my project Pocket DDR, simply because its mostly for s60 3rd users only i will put anoncement here.
Pocket DDR si first and only full customisable real j2me music-based freeware game. Pocket DDR is based on popular Dance Dance Revolution game, there was some Dance Dance Revolution port for mobile phones, but only Pocket DDR is using MP3 like a music format, which gives you full pleasure from the music!
Note that this is first public release (pre-alpha version), development is still in progress. Basic game engine is mostly completed, graphics for menus is missing and most of the features are not implemented yet, it will come in next versions.
Application is not runnable stand alone! You need to locate the songs on memory card into predefined directory. It will not work until you do that!
Songs are located in external files, sou you can easily add your own song. Songs are consited of MP3 file and SDF file. MP3 contains music track a SDF constains stepcharts, song graphics and other song data.

unpack the Pocket DDR directory from the archive and put it int the root of your memory card. e.g. for song named "Tell" the path will be:

note that names of files and directories are case sensitive and must be exactly same like in the example abowe!
How to make your own songs?
Songs are based on the Stepmania songs, especially the .SM files. Stepmania is open source Dance Dance Revolution simulator for PC, PS2, Xbox etc., official site can be found at
www.stepmania.com
SM files contains the stepchart data and other song data. Exact tutorial how to convert stepmania song to Pocket DDR song is described in the Readme.txt file located in the download package, so read is carrefully before ask!
Other usefull informations can be also found in the Readme.txt, so it fully recommended to read it.
The package contains versions for 176x208, 240x320 and 352x416 resolution, SM2SDF convertor and Readme.txt file. For the 208x208 displays use the 176x208 version. Version for E61 is not avaible yet because of different key codes on this phone. It will be resolved in next release, so be patient and wait for next version please.
Also the noteskin, theme and other setting support from external files will come in next versions.

Description :
Player’s mission is to fill in the game field and avoid collision with enemy objects. At the beginning of each level is the player located at the edge of the game field. The player is filling in the game filled by moving along the unfilled part. This process is invalid when a player tries to return back in the track he’s already made or when he cut across it. The game is divided into 3 rounds with 3 levels of difficulty. The rounds differ in their backgrounds and in the appearance of enemy objects while levels differ in the number of enemy objects. What is more in the third level is that there are also special enemy objects of different sizes and abilities of shooting into 8 directions. This is the way how they attack the player even he is in the safety zone.To destroy enemy objects they have to be enclosed into filled part of the game field. While filling in the game field, the enemy objects leave behind premium objects. They differ in their appearance and purpose.
In the Year 2045, the G2 satellite has detected a huge meteor heading directly towards Earth. Inside the meteor contains substantial quantities of an unknown life form which is believed to be a major threat to mankind. Three months later a group of scientists have determined the sample of the meteor and found the parasite living inside. This parasite can integrate itself into any material or organic life form and take control of it, we called this parasite ZINX. To handle the situation, the United Nations (UN) has setup a project codename “Exodus” to destroy the Meteor and ZINX.

While playing in the swamps with his good friend Sparx, Spyro is attacked by strange creatures. Defeating them, he reveals the entrance to a secret ruined temple. There, he meets a Guardian dragon. The guardian also tells Spyro he will teach him more of the story, as well as how to breath fire, if he can prove he is the Anointed One. To do so, Spyro has to retrieve the crystal shard from the home island of the Guardian.
Eventually succeeding and coming back, Spyro learns from the Guardian that 3 other Guardians are being held captive in their home islands, by a dark dragon girl named Cynder. Each guardian knows more pieces of the story and can teach Spyro a new magical breath. Each new breath helps Spyro in opening gates to other worlds. After freeing all the Guardians, Spyro has to vanquish Cynder in a final showdown in the secret temple.
Gameplay :
The game features two game modes : Story and Challenge.
In Story mode, the player goes alternatively through flight, platform and boss levels. He progressively unlocks new levels, while learning pieces of the story and improving his character’s abilities. He can go back to previously finished levels, to unlock new areas and power ups thanks to newly learned abilities.
In Challenge mode, only flight is available, the aim is to score high.

Since we started covering The Sims 2 Mobile earlier this year, we've had opportunities to delve into the gameplay, verify that the graphics are fairly authentic, and enjoy fooling around with the new interface. However, we hadn't seen any firsthand evidence of The Sims 2 Mobile's most revolutionary feature--the server-side communication that would let mobile gamers create or download new sims. Well, there's no need to take the developer's word for it any more, because we've confirmed that all this stuff actually works in the high-end version of the game.
This isn't a Sims simulation. It's the real deal.
We took a look at the biggest of the three versions of the game, specifically the one for higher-end handsets like our test Nokia 6620. EA's decided to call this version The Sims 2 Mobile Connected Edition to distinguish it from the mid- and lower-end games, which lack connectivity. In any case, Connected Edition's clever usage of server-side streaming grants it extra features that make it look and play surprisingly close to the PC game.
The best example of this is in the character-creation process, which is run almost entirely off the server. As in the PC game, your sim is modular: You can pick its gender, face, hair, and clothes. All these visual elements are generated server-side and are transmitted to the mobile game over the air. There are seven specific ethnic phenotypes for facial features, and skin color is entirely adjustable. If you don't feel like being choosy about your sim, you can simply go down the line and select the default options. Luckily, the game switches them up each time you play to ensure that you never get the same sim twice.
Here's the really nifty thing: You don't have to bother with this at all if you don't want to, because it's possible to generate a sim using your PC copy of The Sims 2, which you can then push to your phone. The character will show up on the connectivity menu under the heading of My Next Sim, at which point you can download it. You can also download other people's sims from this menu. They're sorted by newest uploads, most popular downloads, keyword, or random order. As a demonstration, a Sims producer pulled a celebrity sim named Leos from the PC game and placed him in the mobile game. Then he started a new game with Leos. The build we saw experienced some significant loading times at the start of each new game--as it shuffled data to the phone--but EA assured us that further optimization will make the wait time less of an issue. Just in case, EA's added an enjoyable little car game for you to play while waiting, and in it you can scoop up extra simoleans on your way to town.
The other major online feature of The Sims 2 Mobile Connected Edition has to do with the game's "community lot." To clarify, this has nothing to do with playing with other mobile gamers. Instead, it's a convenient drop-off point for the server to add new objects and non-player characters to your game--to keep things fresh. This area serves as a kind of substitute for the PC's game's "build and buy" mode, which would be very difficult to reproduce using a mobile interface. All in all, the community lot will be able to produce a grand total of about 125 different objects, which is a huge variety considering the small size of the game.
According to the producer, all three manifestations of The Sims 2 Mobile will be ready for the holiday time frame. We look forward to seeing how the final build plays around that time.

Your objective in Forge A Fortune is to melt silver into ingots. You control a crane, which is able to pick up several pieces of same valued silver. The following pieces of silver are available: 1, 5, 10, 50, 100 and 500. If you arrange as much pieces onto or besides each other, vertically or horizontally, so that the value of the silver pieces results the next high value, the arranged silver pieces disappear and a new piece appears - You gain points. Stacking two pieces with the value of 500 onto each other makes both bars disappear completely and no new piece turns up.
After a certain time new rows of silver are delivered; they appear at the bottom. If a stack reaches the top, you are game over.
Forge A Fortune features 3 difficulty levels - beginners and pros will be challenged. A save function is included as well. The average graphic could have been improved. Controlling the crane is easy; even beginners should get along with the controlling. The game is motivating; especially Tetris or Stack Attack Fans will esteem this game.
All in all, Forge A Fortune is a good puzzle game with innovative elements. Puzzle fans might become addictive.

《铸造财富》游戏中的目标是将银子熔融为银锭。你来控制一具起重机，抓起多个等值的银块。具有下列价值的银块：1，5，10，50，100和500。
要是你把很多个银块叠放或者边靠边挨着放置在一起，即垂直或者水平的方式，银块的价值合起来变成下面的高价值，这些原来的银块被消掉，新的银块出现－ 此时你获得游戏分值。堆放起来两列价值500的银块在一起，让它们都完全消失，再也没有新的银块产生。
一段规定时间后，新的一行银块出现在底部。要是一堆银块一直堆放到顶部的话游戏就结束了。

Rise of Antares is a turn based space strategy. You play for a interstellar corporations contesting the rights of domination over the galaxy.
During the game you make decisions on resource allocation for the colonies under your control. You must determine what each colony should produce and together with your scientists you will research new technologies and expand your influence by colonizing new stellar systems or fighting adversaries.
In the game you can build different spacecrafts: from small pursuit crafts to large interstellar battleships. You independently design spacecraft projects defining the type and level of engines, armor, and armament.
All scientific research in the game is divided into three main categories: theoretical research, technological and historical studies of ancient artifacts found in new stellar systems during the game.
A player's theoretical knowledge determines the range of technologies available for research. Technology, in its turn, allows you equip ships with more advanced equipment and erect new construction types in new colonies.

* Resource allocation in colonies, ability to build up to 28 construction types;

Top Gun meets Groundhog Day as you fight for control of the skies
Whatever happened to the classic shoot 'em up? Where the player could amble along without having to worry about directions and 360-degree environments, happily shooting planes, helicopters, spaceships, motherships, battleships, moths, lizards, two headed pandas and anything else to crawl out of the creators' minds? The genre may well have slowly taken a plummet into the depths of gaming past, but THQ have made an effort to resurrect it with 3D Interceptor. The "3D" in the title refers to the fact you fly 'into' the screen and face the enemy head on, as if you were sat in the cockpit of your futuristic fighter itself.
From the off you'll take on fighter jets, attack helicopters and surface-to-air missiles in order to progress and fight your way through the ranks of the US Air Force. One level stolen straight from Star Wars requires flying over and under obstacles in a trench to make it to the end, though not to blow up the Death Star, but simply to fly off into the hazy distance. Through the use of simple controls, the only requirement is to concentrate on shooting the baddies and dodging their fire, and the handling of your plane is certainly well crafted, as are firing the guns and missiles. From time to time the jet will get in the way of your line of sight and, moving aside, all you'll see is a missile heading straight out the screen, but otherwise the gameplay is very smooth and generates a genuine sense of fun.
Ominous signs start to appear as you progress past the first few levels though, as déjà vu suddenly creeps in and you realise that the mission you're on seems very similar... Many of the missions simply reuse the same backgrounds and themes, merely adding a couple more enemies for you to down to prolong the experience. The fatal blow comes after level eight, when, having just played the same four levels back to back, you discover with enormous dread that the game's over. That's it, no more, finito! Instead of feeling like Maverick from Top Gun, you begin to wish you were his less fortunate co-pilot, Goose, who's put out of his misery before being scraped off the inside of the cockpit with a spoon. Within 30 minutes the game is over and, to make matters worse, there are no different missions, difficulty settings or bonus games to keep the player amused. What they have been kind enough to include (at no extra cost) are huge levels of disappointment, mountains of frustration and a joyous sense of feeling cheated, robbed and clipped around the ear for no apparent reason.
To squander such an opportunity when the first few levels show so much promise have caused this game to suffer incredibly. 3D Interceptor could have been a real joy, and an engaging one at that, but will inevitably be forgotten by the pocket gaming world. That is, unless you've actually paid for this underwhelming and half-hearted game, then you won't forget it in a hurry.

Infospace Manic Medic J2ME [JAVA]
Manic Medic is a casual game that puts you in the shoes of a harassed consultant, who has to assign incoming patients to beds, diagnose what's wrong with them, heal them, and then clean their bed up after they've been booted out of the hospital to make room for another person.
The core gameplay is simple. Hospital beds are assigned number keys: '1', '3', '4', '6', '7' and '9'. When patients appear at the entrance to your ward, you press '0' to select them, then a number to assign them to a bed.
Press the bed number again to diagnose them, then press '*' to go to the care table to pick up an item to heal them, although you can also press '#' to pick up a comfort item to cheer them up (I think this may mean Good Drugs). Finally, when they leave, you press the bed number again to pick up their sheet, and then press '2' to drop it in the laundry hamper.

Rules:
To play the game you have to register in a J2ME client application (please read How to Start section). Once registered you will be able to enter the game any time during the round.
Whole Game process consists of rounds, each carrying a prize fund. Every round is limited by time. You will be able to walk inside the Game World and to communicate to other players during the round.
When the round starts all users will be able to dig the surface of the island looking for prizes. When the user finds the prize he/she will be able to receive it either automatically (if it is mobile content) or by request (if it is some other valuable prize). To receive prizes please follow the instructions provided with the prize description.
