　　去年11月THQ公司曾经在一次电话会议上确认了旗下街头赛车游戏系列《极品醉车》系列的新作即将推出的消息，但此后就再没有透露任何详情。今天THQ官方终于再次确认，《极品醉车 激情之夜（Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights）》将登陆PS3和X360两大次世代主机，而现有主机PS2和掌机PSP、NDS以及PC版也将同时发售。

　　取材自美国著名“Hot Import Nights改装车展”的《极品醉车 激情之夜》，将在系列前作基础上增加新的漂移驾驶特性、全新赛道和以及数量超乎想象的丰富车辆改装选项，改装用的零部件的种类和数量都将比前作有大幅度提高。

　　另外值得一提的是，本作还设有一个特殊的赛手DNA系统，游戏可以自动记录玩家在比赛中的驾驶习惯和特点，创建虚拟的赛车手档案并用以在网络上交流和分享。

　　2004年，THQ在与包括EA、Take-Two和Namco在内的多家大型游戏开发商的竞争后，终于收购了《极品醉车》系列的开发商Juice Games公司并最终获得了游戏的开发和发行权，而本作则是THQ在获得该系列开发权后的第二款续作。
