我也来谈谈关于这次“NOKIA准备新推出E90i”的报道······
我怀疑又是国内无良媒体的YY新闻。
几个让我奇怪的地方
1.“据国外媒体报道”
哪个国外媒体？完全没有指出具体的国外媒体。和E系动态比较紧的两个媒体如：[url=http://thenokiablog.com/]http://thenokiablog.com/[/url]和[url=http://www.e-series.org/]http://www.e-series.org/[/url]最近都没有任何风声，国内媒体倒是说说哪个国外媒体放出的消息啊？
2.“有消息称它将搭载500万像素的摄像头”
有必要么？我之前说过，E90和E71啊E66这些机子之所以配备了AF镜头，很大程度上不是为了拍照更清晰，而是为了能够实现名牌和条形码的扫描，说白了，还是为了实现商务功能。如果真的贪图拍照的效果，Eseries为什么不弄一个卡尔蔡司认证的Logo放上面呢？我们不稀罕什么500W，对蔡司认证和氙气闪光灯比较感兴趣，如果NOKIA真要硬件升级E90的娱乐功能，不会不这样考虑。
3.“诺基亚E90i在重量以及尺寸上要略小于E90”
这样会导致什么？屏幕面积和内键盘面积变小。完全无法接受········
4.“触摸屏”
触摸屏这个问题我不想多说，懂的人心里明白的，NOKIA的S60手机不是SONY的PS3手柄，不是你说加个震动功能就能加上去这么简单··········
等等等等··········
总之这次新闻消息很难说服我，很难让我相信···········
Why should we expect an 'i'? I suspect we will see more firmware upgrades (re-install everything again phew).
My understanding is that the 9210 and the 9210i are both pretty much the same phone from a hardware perspective. Same dimensions, same hardware, same CPU. The real difference was that software was added to support video streaming and flash. This support is the reason for the extra letter: in the 9200, 9300 and 9500 series, it was impossible for the consumer to update the firmware without taking it to a Nokia Center.
But the E90 is different. Its firmware can be updated by anyone by simply using the Nokia Updater software that came with the phone. So if, for example, Nokia wanted to turn its GPS algorithm into an Assisted GPS algorithm, it simply has to make available a firmware fix.
So I suspect that there won't be a new model "E90i"... there may be a new production of E90 that fixes engineering issues (like the defective microphone), but I doubt that Nokia will give a new Product Nomenclature for that. What we will likely see is a new version of firmware that allows desired features such as keyboard shortcuts (and new versions of the standard software that supports it)...
Anyway, that's my guess. Now quit asking the same questions unless you're really looking for a whole lot of other speculations. They're guesses (and yours!) is as good as mine.
